Terms of Service

“Slateline,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the business operating the Slateline website, applications, and services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old — and old enough to legally use daily-fantasy and sports-betting platforms where you live, which is 21+ in many jurisdictions — to use the Service. You are responsible for knowing and following the laws that apply to you. The Service is not offered where prohibited, and nothing on it is an inducement to wager where wagering is unlawful. Slateline provides probabilistic player-prop projections, market comparisons, and research tools. It is an educational and analytical product only. Slateline is not a sportsbook, a daily-fantasy operator, or a wagering service; it does not accept, place, hold, or facilitate any bet or entry, and it does not automate entries on PrizePicks, Underdog, Betr, Sleeper, or any sportsbook. We are an independent research product and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those platforms.

Every projection is a statistical estimate, not a prediction of a certain result. Our ability to beat any market is unproven and stated as such in-product. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make, and for any money you choose to risk elsewhere.

You must provide accurate information when you register and keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@slateline.co if you suspect unauthorized use. You may sign in with email and password or with a third-party provider (Google or Apple); your use of those providers is also subject to their terms.

• Plans. Slateline offers a free preview and one paid plan (“Pro”) with monthly, quarterly, and yearly billing intervals. Current prices are shown on the pricing page.
• Payment processors. Paid subscriptions purchased on the web are processed by Stripe; subscriptions purchased through a mobile app are processed by the app store (Apple or Google) and managed via RevenueCat. We do not collect or store your full card or payment-instrument numbers.
• Auto-renewal. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing interval at the then-current price until you cancel. Mobile subscriptions renew and are managed through your app-store account.
• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; paid access continues through the end of the current billing interval.
• Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. App-store purchases are subject to the store’s refund policies.
• Price changes. We may change prices or plan features; changes apply to the next billing interval, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes.

You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data from the Service, or resell, redistribute, or sublicense our projections or data;
• use the Service to build or train a competing product, or to reverse-engineer our models;
• share, transfer, or resell your account or access credentials;
• interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure; or
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms or applicable law.

The Service — including our models, projections, software, text, design, and brand — is owned by Slateline or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial research. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Sports statistics and lines are sourced from third parties and remain the property of their respective owners.

The Service references and compares odds, lines, and offerings from third-party platforms. Those platforms are independent; we do not control them, are not responsible for their content or availability, and their appearance on Slateline is not an endorsement by them or by us. Their names and marks belong to their respective owners.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that projections will be accurate, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any outcome, edge, or profit will result from your use of it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Slateline and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, wagering losses, or losses of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. To the extent any liability is not excludable, our total aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Slateline and its operators from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these terms or of any law or third-party right.

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of [Governing law jurisdiction — to be set with counsel], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The specific venue and dispute-resolution process will be finalized in a reviewed version of these terms.
